"Deep peace" Acrylic on canvas 12" x 36" smaller series paintings (canvas by itself or can be framed)

I recently met a horse that has become a very good friend. She makes me feel calm. I wish I could just hold onto her neck but she doesn’t really like that. She walks acres of land on a ranch and her owners are thinking of getting her another horse for company. At night, sometimes when she is out of her corral she’ll be out in the fields eating plants in the moonlight. This piece reminds me of a full moon night. I wonder how she sees in the night. Maybe like this? I put a water like bottom on this piece because it was a hot summer and I felt like this horse needed some cool water to stand in and drink. Some water plants grow nearby for later. As I imagined how the water would look the deeper I got into it. I feel at peace when I look at this painting.
